How we can support you at Coventry University

Posted 2 weeks ago

There's always support available

Life as a student can be overwhelming at times. Between balancing lectures and a social life, learning to budget your money and learning how to be independent, it may feel like it's the end of the world.

But we promise you it's not.

The first thing to always remember is that it's completely normal to feel like this, and many of your friends will feel it too. Communicating your feelings and how you are finding your student journey is the best way forward and the best way to let go of any mental stress you may be feeling.

There's a range of support and resources to help you all year round.

Mental Health Support

If you'd like to talk to someone about how you're feeling, the Mental Health team are here to support you. They can support you in managing the impact of a mental health condition and remove the barriers to successful study. If your mental health is impacting your studies, they can discuss reasonable adjustments or exam arrangements that might be available, and if you already have a diagnosis, they can support you with managing this or put you in contact with the right services.

Spectrum.Life

Spectrum.Life is a confidential listening and support service for all registered students that gives you immediate emotional and mental health support 24 hours a day. It's delivered by an external partner on behalf of the Student Wellbeing team.

Our Wellbeing Support is based in The Hub, and they're on hand to provide you with practical and emotional support when you need it. The team is on hand to help you with:

  • Bereavement
