Celebrate Bonfire Night in the city 🎇

Remember, remember the 5th of November! Guy Fawkes Day, AKA Bonfire Night, is almost here, so get ready to celebrate with some amazing fireworks displays, bonfires, sparklers and more.

What is Bonfire Night?

Celebrated on November 5th, Bonfire Night goes back to when a group of men (including Guy Fawkes), tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London, but failed. So the King's survival was celebrated with bonfires in celebration.

Nowadays, Bonfire Night is all about bringing the community together, firework shows and enjoying an Autumn evening with friends.

Here's where you can watch the fireworks in Coventry:

Fireworks at the BPA: 7 November

📍Butts Park Arena, CV1 3GE

🎟️ £10 per ticket

From 3pm, you can get stuck into the festivities before the fireworks start. From the Beyoncé tribute performance to delicious food stalls there's plenty to do – not to mention one of the biggest firework displays in Coventry.

Coventrians RFC Charity Bonfire and Fireworks Night: 7 November

📍Coventrians Rugby Club, The Black Pad, Yelverton Road, CV6 4AF

🎟️ From £7.50

A big bonfire will be lit on the evening, along with bright fireworks, fairground rides and even more music and entertainment. This is a charity event so it's a great choice if you want to see the fireworks but also contribute to a good cause.

Balsall Common Fireworks Extravaganza: 31 October

📍Balsall Common, The Lant Centre, Meeting House Lane, CV7 7GE

🎟️ £10 (advance booking) or £12 (on the gate)

Another charity event, head here for a great fireworks display, fire jugglers and performances, lots of food and drink and the Berkswell Sports Bar.

Have a great Bonfire Night!
